Support Catholic University's Online M.S. Ecclesial Administration and Management degree program

Throughout the Masters in Ecclesial Administration and Management (MEAM), clerical and lay church leaders will acquire the managerial and financial skills necessary to run a parish. Students will explore different models of parish leadership and learn effective ways to collaborate with lay staff, volunteers, and fellow priests.

Prior to becoming the pastor of a Parish, most priests do not receive formal training in administration, accounting, operations, personnel management, or finance, and yet they are thrust into leadership roles where they are suddenly expected to understand all of these things, as they are essentially the "CEO" of the parish. And while these technical aspects of running a parish should not be their primary focus, they need to have a foundational understanding of these subjects so that they can more effectively entrust administrative and managerial tasks to the laity, and thus free themselves up for the important priestly duties of administering the sacraments, nurturing and growing the flock, as well as other important pastoral duties.

Your gift will be multiplied like the loaves and the fishes - by enabling us to educate more priests and lay leadership to become capable and effective stewards of Church resources and better shepherds of their flocks, so that they can reach more souls with the Good News of Christ. Imagine a world where every Church was run like a business, with the business being saving souls! Your gift can help us achieve that goal.
