The Society of Catholic Scientists is sponsoring a Gold Mass for scientists, a votive Mass in honor of St. Albert the Great, the patron saint of natural science. Immediately following the Mass will be a talk by Rev. David A. Brown, S.J., on "The Vatican Observatory in the Scientific Tradition of the Church." Fr. Brown is an astronomer in the Vatican Observatory Research Group. The talk will be in the Caldwell Auditorium. Refreshments will be available.
