In this interactive fireside chat, Jeanne will share how she managed to keep people at the center of a fast-paced, mission-driven organization, and she will discuss how you can do it too. She will provide fun and effective tips to allow for a culture of human flourishing in the workplace. This is a talk you do not want to miss whether you work in private for profit, public for profit or non-profit organizations.
Speaker's Bio:
Jeanne is a leader, coach and activist. She has first hand experience leading a growing organization. As President of the March for Life, Jeanne’s responsibilities included growing and leading one of the most nationally recognized non-profits, overseeing strategic planning, championing mission development; speaking to policy makers, legislators, supporters and communicating internally and externally with stakeholders.
Jeanne has testified before the U.S. Congress and regularly consults, meets with and presents to state and federal elected officials, including at the White House and Department of Justice.
Prior to her time leading the March for Life Jeanne worked with the Family Research Council (FRC), where she focused on issues related to the inherent dignity of the human person. Before FRC Jeanne worked for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in the Office of the Secretary. Her federal government experience includes global health policy, as well as domestic and international health care issues. Earlier in her career Jeanne held a variety of ministry positions within the Catholic Church including that of youth minister, religion teacher, campus minister and Associate Director of the Cardinal Maida Institute for the New Evangelization.
Jeanne has made frequent media appearances including interviews on MSNBC, CNN, FOX, ABC, CBS, and others. Jeanne’s writings have appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, U.S. News and World Report, USA Today, the Washington Post and numerous other publications.
In 2017, the Washington Post Magazine profiled Jeanne along with nine other nationally recognized activists in a piece entitled, "I Could Use My Voice". Jeanne’s pro-life work was included in the 2019 book, “Activists: Portraits of Courage” by KK Ottesen. In 2020 Jeanne was honored by the
Sisters of Life as the recipient of the annual Cardinal O’Connor Award. In 2021 Jeanne received the St. John Paul II New Evangelization Award from the Catholic Information Center. In 2022, 2023 and 2024 Washingtonian Magazine named Jeanne one of DC's 500 most influential people.
Today Jeanne continues to serve as a consultant to the U.S. Catholic Conference of Bishops Pro-Life Committee in addition to serving on the Board of three impactful non-profit organizations. She also serves as a coach to emerging and growing leaders.
Jeanne holds an undergraduate degree in psychology from James Madison University and a master degree in the theology of marriage and family from the Pope John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family, in addition to a coaching certification through Metanoia Catholic. Jeanne resides in northern Virginia with her husband, David.
