# **The Story Behind the Match**

**Pat, B.A. 2016 and Christa Narus** met during their college years in Washington, D.C. While at Catholic University, Pat was a multi-year starter on the NCAA DIII Football Team, and Christa, who graduated from George Washington University, has since become an honorary Catholic University alumna.

Pat was a student in Professor Weber’s very first Sales class, which helped launch his career. The lessons of integrity, relationship-building, and service became the foundation for a thriving career in Sales.

Out of gratitude, he and Christa made a transformational gift to support the program’s future. Part of that gift established the Narus Family Sales Lab, a new, dedicated space for students to collaborate, practice, and grow.

Now, through the Narus Match, Pat and Christa are inspiring other alumni and families to join them—matching up to $50,000 per year for the next four years—to strengthen the program’s leadership, expand opportunities for students, and ensure the Sales Program continues to thrive long after Professor Weber’s tenure.
